While the kids are out for Spring Break you should make plans to take a daytrip to this wildlife park in Illinois.

Wait... Illinois has a wildlife park?

Yep it sure does.

A little over 3 hours south on I-39 you and your kiddos can enjoy seeing animals up close at the Aikman Wildlife Adventure in Arcola, IL.

OnlyInYourState shares that over 150 animals from exotic to farm animals, are looking forward to seeing you visit them and get an up close view of them roaming the adventure park grounds.

It'a about a mile long path that you can either drive-thru yourself or take the tour on one of their wagons. Either way you'll see all sorts of animals from camels to zebras to red kangaroos and more. You even have opportunities to feed them too!

They also encourage everyone to stop into their petting zoo to see the goats, rabbits, miniature donkeys, etc... Click here to see all of the animals they have.

How cool! I never knew this place existed.

Plus, as I was looking at their Facebook page they have fun events planned there including a really cool Easter Adventure Hunt this Saturday, you could be a part of too.
