Major Rockford Construction Project Finished

After a multimillion dollar investment, a major street in Rockford has been beautified! Just in time for traffic headed to Stroll On State.

Finally, all the orange barrels, zig zag lanes, and single lane roads are finished. Almost three years and three months we’re finally able to travel South Main Street with ease.

The construction wrapped up on Tuesday and if you haven’t yet seen it you should, because it’s pretty.

The construction on South Main Street was between Cedar and Harrison Avenue.
