According to the Chicago Sun Times, as of 9:27 am this morning 166 flights were cancelled at O'Hare and another 284 flights were cancelled at Midway International. It was due to the snow storm we got on Monday. But, 450 flights cancelled is much better than the 1,300 that were cancelled on Monday. Still, if you have somewhere to be it can become quite the headache. Weather conditions will only get worse through Thursday so if you haven't flown out yet chances are you might be staying until the temps get a little more back to normal.

Be on the lookout for more cancellations though due to our forecasted weather for the rest of this week. Starting later today into the evening, temperatures will plummet across the Midwest with expected wind-chill temps to be around -50 below. Please if you do not have to go anywhere just stay home. The last thing you want to do is to be stuck or stranded in these record breaking temperatures. Stay safe and bundle up!
