Kind-hearted Luke Bryan took some time to really light up the life of one very special young fan in New York.

After Bryan's recent performance at SPAC in Saratoga Springs, Albany country station WGNA received a letter from a listener named Marjorie, whose 4-year-old son, Riley, has Asperger's Syndrome, a form of autism.

“We went to Luke’s concert Sunday night and had great seats. It looked like [Luke] tried to read my son’s shirt, but couldn’t or didn’t understand it. It said ‘Luke Bryan is one of the pieces to my puzzle,’ and he truly is,” Marjorie wrote.

Her son relates to Bryan's music in a very special way.

“When Riley pretends to be Luke, he is a whole other person. He not afraid or shy. He has confidence and feels free," she added. "Every time Luke turned his hat around during the concert, so did Riley. On our way out of the show, Riley pulled me down and said ‘I didn’t know all the songs mommy. I need to learn all the songs.’ He just loves music. Sorry for such a long letter, but I just want Luke and all other artists to know that their music is a powerful thing and truly helps those with disabilities to express themselves and get through rough parts of their day."

The station invited Marjorie and Riley to come in to the studio, where they had a big surprise in store -- they had arranged for Bryan to call in and speak to Riley.

Decked out in his 'Luke Bryan Is One of the Pieces to My Puzzle' shirt and wearing his ball cap like his idol, Riley was so surprised when he heard Luke's voice, he literally fell to the floor! But then the adorable boy mustered up the nerve to say hello to Bryan, who said he remembered Riley's shirt from the concert, but hadn't understood its significance.

"I just remember reading it and thinking, 'Well, that's an interesting thing to put on a shirt,'" Bryan said. "And then to find out the whole story later is really, really amazing, and I'm kinda having some tears on the bus."
