The Loves Park Police Department received a very special thank you in the form a sweet treat.

Awww... that is so sweet to see the simplicity and the selflessness of little children who show us what it's like to be humble and kind to all.

Their parents certainly are raising them right.

Our police officers put their lives on the line everyday and showing appreciation is an easy thing to do. It doesn't have to be something fancy. It can be as simple as a sweet treat or simply giving them a smile and saying thank you.
