1. His real name is Tyler Farr. Yep. it's not a stage name or shortened version of his name. Actually, he was born Tyler Lynn Farr on February 5th, 1984.

2.  He grew up in Garden City, Missouri.

3. He studied Voice in college at Missouri State University.

4. He's a classically trained opera singer. Wow! Under that cool gritty tone, he's another Andrea Bocelli.

5. He claims that "He fell in love with, country music after his mother married George Jones' touring guitarist." (CMT.com)

6. He has co-written several songs including: “She’s Just Like That” by Joe Nichols, "Hey Y'all" for Colt Ford and his debut single "Hot Mess" which he co-wrote with Rhett Akins (Yes Thomas Rhett's Dad).

Wow! Well that's pretty cool. He may be newer to the scene but Tyler certainly has accomplished much in these past few years hasn't he?
