Happy 815 day, my friends! Get ready to enjoy some of the undiscovered gems of our city, fun events, and big time savings from over 60 local vendors in honor of the first ever Rockford Day celebration today!

#RockfordDay officially kicks off this morning at 8:15 a.m. with a proclamation from Mayor Morrissey at Meg's Daily Grind on Perryville Road. After that, head to downtown Rockford and bring your lunch to enjoy live music from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. along the East State Bridge. End your day at the Jefferson Street Bridge when the Rockford Area Arts Council dedicates the new mural at 4:30 p.m.
