2018 is off to a very special and quite possibly magical start, as it gets not one but two supermoons.

Now if you missed the first one due to partying Sunday night into Monday to ring in the new year, no worries there's another on the horizon.

ABC7 Chicago reports that the second supermoon that we will see here in Northern Illinois will be January 31st.

However this moon "will be an exceptional sight known as a 'super blue blood moon'." Why?

Scientifically the second supermoon in a the month is known as a blue moon, but this won't be any old super moon on "Jan. 31 the supermoon will also feature a total lunar eclipse which will be visible western North America to eastern Asia."

Cool. Now that I want to see don't you?
