If you thinking working at a jail is easy work, think again. Cook County jail is one place you don't want to be in for very long.

On Thursday evening, for three hours, two Cook County Jail inmates took over a part of the jail while holding one inmate hostage.

Fox 32 reports that the incident started at about 4:30 p.m. in maximum-security area of the jail. According to Cook County sheriff’s office spokeswoman Cara Smith:

The two men covered the floor of the tier with soapy water and feces, ripped down security cameras and then threatened to harm another detainee with a sharp object.

Hats off to the prison guards and emergency personnel who put their lives on the line every day.
