Increased Police Presence in Cherry Valley

Traffic picks up during the holidays, and so will the police presence in Cherry Valley. The "Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over" Campaign is underway in Cherry Valley now through January 2nd.

According to WIFR, the Cherry Valley Police Department has teamed up with the Illinois Department of Transportation to keep the roads safe this holiday season.

Officers will keep a close eye and drivers and they will also be looking for seatbelt violations. Be safe, buckle up and please drive sober.
