Illinois Tollway Twitter Will Now Include Road Conditions

Road conditions will now be posted on the Illinois Tollway Twitter feeds.

It's that time of year. Lots of traveling and the chance for bad weather. During the holidays, I use the tollway a lot to go visit my Mom.

In the past, when I was going to see her on Christmas and it snowed, I couldn't be sure if the roads were good or not.

Now, thanks to technology it's possible to find out.

According to the Illinois Tollway Facebook page,

"Tollway Trip Tweets now include roadway conditions! Find out what's happening before you get on the road. Follow the Tollway's automatically updated roadway Twitter feeds!"
