I would like to order four Dorito Loco tacos and a Margarita. Live mas, drink mas.Or would you like to wash down that burrito with a cold cerveza? Mmm...sounds like a tasty combo platter.

Yes, your dream of enjoying both may come true, soon.

According to Eater, Yum! Brands, the parent company of Taco Bell has applied for a liquor license at its newest Taco Bell location in the trendy Wicker Park neighborhood of Chicago. If approved, it would be the first of the chain's 6,500 locations to serve alcohol.

A company spokes person said that the Wicker Park taco Bell at  1439 N. Milwaukee Ave is undergoing a "completely new urban restaurant design".

Competitors like Chipotle and Baja Fresh already offer booze at their locations, so taco bell is looking to keep up..

So think of it like this, presently many people are used to rolling through Taco Bell late night after drinking at the bars, so now they may soon be able to continue the flow.

The Wicker Park Taco Bell is scheduled to open sometime in late summer 2015. No word on any Taco Bell in the Stateline Area following suit. We can only hope!
