After years of driving, it seems difficult to do but a man in the Chicago suburbs got the gas and brake confused and ran into a building.

My daughter just started taking driver's education class, so I guess the basics of driving are fresh on my mind.

I can understand how a new driver could get confused with some of the functions on a car.

A person that has experience shouldn't have too many problems. Especially, when it comes to the difference between the brake and gas pedals

According to nwherald.com, that exact event took place.

"A 51-year-old man drove his vehicle through the front entrance of Anytime Fitness in Lake of the Hills when he was trying to park but accelerated instead of braking."

Maybe he needs a refresher course at Drive-Right?

I guess he really didn't want to work out.
