Illinois Governor Enjoys Skating

The Governor of Illinois, Bruce Rauner, likes to go ice skating during the winter in Springfield.

Just because you're the Governor of Illinois, doesn't mean you can't have any fun hobbies.

During the summer months, Bruce Rauner travels around our state on his Harley Davidson Motorcycle.

Unfortunately, he can't do it in the winter. So then, what does he do for fun? He enjoys ice skating.

“One of my favorite things to do is I like to go skating,’” Rauner said. “I used to play hockey when I was a kid. There’s ... two hockey rinks in Springfield. They’re right near our house, so I go up there and skate at night or on the weekend.”
