Just a reminder, removing ice and snow accumulation isn't just a suggestion in Illinois. It's true. And not doing so could get you fined.

Drivers should be courteous and clear off all ice and snow from their vehicle. Failing to do so can cause the ice and snow to be blown off and hit the vehicle behind. Obviously, if the driver has a disability that makes her or him unable to do so should be considered. The polite thing to do would be for a neighbor, family member, or friend to help them get it taken care of.

As shared during Rockford's first big snowfall, the fine for failing to remove ice or snow buildup from a vehicle is up to $120.

So, how about this, you pay me $25 and I'll come to remove the snow for you. It's a win-win.
