Sadly, in the last few months, we have heard a lot about an Aurora, Illinois carpenter named Greg Zanis and his Crosses for Losses. You see, for the last 20 years, Mr. Zanis has been constructing and placing white crosses across the country to honor victims of tragedies. He does this at his own expense, and a lot of the time, at the sacrifice of his own family.

I've learned a lot about Greg Zanis in the last 2 months, and I am always moved and inspired by his selflessness, but this is the first time I was actually moved to tears when hearing his story.

Last month, Las Vegas declared Sunday, November 19th as "Greg Zanis Day" as a thank you for the 58 crosses he delivered to the city to honor the victims of the Route 91 Harvest Festival shooting. They gave him a key to the city and topped it off with a few HUGE surprises.

You may want to grab some tissues too before watching this...

I've said it before, and I will say it again; God bless you, Greg Zanis. Thank you for your undying compassion and sacrifice. This world is definitely a better place because you are in it. We need a whole lot more people like Greg Zanis.
