IceHogs & Season Ticket Holders Unite to Help Team’s Biggest Fan

I can't lie to you, when I saw this video from the Rockford IceHogs come across my Facebook news feed last night, I automatically teared up.

The entire IceHogs organization is always going out of their way to do incredible things for the Rockford community, but this one takes the cake for me. The fact that the players and their loyal season ticket holders and fans united to brighten the day of one of their own, just gives me the goosebumps. I'm willing to bet that you'll agree after watching these videos.

The holiday surprises aren't over yet for Hurricane Hog, a.k.a. Derrick Carter though. WIFR report: "The IceHogs look to follow up this gesture with another holiday special planned for Carter in upcoming weeks."

Bravo, Rockford IceHogs family! You just made me even more proud to call you our home town team, and I didn't even know that was possible! Love you all!
