Ice Climbers Seen Scaling a Waterfall in Northern Illinois

Amazing! A waterfall frozen into solid ice is leaving Stateline residents in awe.

If you want to see the true natural beauty of winter, hightail it on down to Starved Rock State Park in Ottawa before the weather warms up and check out an amazing sight. The waterfall in the canyon is frozen solid.

Back on January 11th, the weather was starting to warm up and it looked like the waterfall would crack in half in this video below.

Starved Rock officials said:

We've had one week of crazy weather! 55 degree temperatures followed by snow and wind chills below zero. Waterfalls are still frozen!
