Hurricane Harvey Dogs Still Need Homes In Rockford
It's been about six weeks since the cataclysmic Hurricane Harvey hit Houston, TX causing not only the displacement of many families but stray pets, too. Many of those dogs and cats were rescued and flown to Chicago in hopes of finding new forever homes. Rockford no-kill animal shelter, P.A.W.S., took in some of the pets as soon as they landed. Unfortunately, there are a few dogs that need loving homes.
P.A.W.S. shared the news on Facebook in effort to find homes for the four lovable dogs remaining at their shelter.
- Boo (female Terrier mix)
- Cody (male German Shepherd/Hound mix)
- Nova (female Basset Hound/Catalouha
- Zander (male Terrier mix)
