In the summer months we are constantly being told about the dangers of leaving kids or animals in a hot car, yet people still do it. In fact, 10 children have died so far this year from heat stroke after being left in a car. This is so sad, and so easily preventable with items you already carry in the trunk of your car.

If you see a child or pet trapped in a hot car with the windows rolled up, PLEASE step in and be the adult in the situation. Don't leave a nasty note, break the glass. (Unless the car is running, because most likely the air conditioning is running too) Heat stroke happens fast, and by the time the driver sees the note, it may be too late.
