Here’s the Stores that will be Open on Thanksgiving

It's hard to believe that Thanksgiving is coming in two weeks. Many stores have announced being closed, but here are the stores that will be open.

If you want to get a jump start on your holiday shopping or just snap up awesome pre-Black Friday deals for yourself, well your in luck there will be a few stores open after you stuff yourself full  of turkey and pumpkin pie.

WIFR reports that several major retail stores announced that they will open their doors for shoppers on Thanksgiving which includes the following stores:

Kohl's - They will open their doors at 6 pm and start their Black Friday door buster deals then as well. they will also "launch the Black Friday Deals" on-line then too.

Macy's - doors open at 5 p.m.

J.C. Penny - opens at 3 p.m.

Both the Cherryvale Mall and Janesville Mall, owned by CBL & Associates Properties, announced previously that the malls will be closed on Thanksgiving. They will open on Black Friday at 6am. However, if any of their anchor stores that have exterior mall entrances will have the option to be open or not.

So that means here in Rockford it's likely that Kohl's, JC Penny and Macy's will all be open for those early bird shoppers or possibly those who are tired of being cooped up in a house with family.
