In Rockford, here's the stores you need to hit because they will have the best deals. Giving you more or bang for your buck this Black Friday.

According to a WalletHub study picked up by Channel 23, WIFR, the best stores in Rockford for your Black Friday shopping are Kohl's, JC Penney, Sears and Macy's.

Outside of Rockford in Belvidere, Dixon and Beloit you can add in ShopKo as another bargain finding store for those on your Christmas list.

Kohl's is the front runner of having the highest discounts for holiday shoppers at 66.32% barely edging out JC Penney at 66.30%.

So what about everyone's favorite of Target, Wal-Mart or even K-mart. Interestingly enough those stores can be found in the middle of the pack falling at discounts of between 36% - 34%.

According to WalletHub's study the biggest discounted and sale priced items are those of clothing and accessories, while the smallest sales discounts will be those that are considered consumer packaged goods (i.e. food, cosmetics, beverages, or any products that are meant to be used quickly.)
