Helpers get the Chores Done

Growing up my Dad used to joke that "why should he buy a dishwasher when he has 3 of them right here (referring to my two sister's and I)."

In actuality my Dad was on to something back then.

If you need help cleaning the house, give your kids the title of "Helpers" and the chores will get done.

A study from the University of California, San Diego found that kids will enjoy helping you over protesting when you ask or nag them to help you out. Giving them a title makes them feel responsibe and important.

So Dad's this weekend when you want to give Mom the Day off for Mother's Day, enlist your "Helpers" and things will get done.
