We hear it all the time; "eat fresh," "packaged foods are bad," but let's be honest. We are busy, and sometimes we just don't have time to prepare fresh homemade meals for our family. Thank goodness the Center for Science in the Public Interest conducted a survey to determine what the healthiest packaged foods to buy are. At least we can let go of some of that parental guilt about serving packaged foods.

My husband and I do not eat the healthiest, but I keep warning him that will be changing very soon. Ella is about to turn a year old and will be eating the same meals as us soon, so Spencer better get used to eating vegetables at every meal. I, for one, am very thankful for handy studies like this one that will help me with my healthier eating crusade.

Thank goodness ice cream and cheese products are on the list. I feel better now.
