Add this to your Halloween and fall fun by taking one of these haunted hikes.

There's one for kids and adults and they're happening this weekend.

The Daily Herald shares that 28th Annual Haunted Hike "Haunted Hallowdayz" returns this year at the Camp Big Timber in Elgin.

There are separate hikes for kids and adults which will be offered this Friday and Saturday, Oct. 19th & 20th, and the next Friday and Saturday, Oct. 26th & 27th.

The kiddie hikes will be offered from 1:30 pm to 4:00 pm for kids ages 10 and younger. The adult hikes are for anyone over the age of 10 and will be from 6:30 pm to 10:30 pm.

Also, when walking the haunted trails this year, hikers will be scared by volunteers that were "transformed into holiday ghouls, ghosts and goblins" as part of the theme of "Haunted Hallowdayz"

Now that's an interesting twist. I wonder will there be a Scary Santa, reindeer and elves?

I guess we'll have to get ourselves some tickets and brave the trails to find out.

To purchase tickets, which are $15 in advance or at the door, and for more information visit www.tfchauntedhike.org

Happy Hiking!
