The Harlem Girl's Bowling team successfully defended their National Championship and threw in an individual title as well.

The 2018 championships held in the St. Louis suburb of Fairview Heights saw the Huskies walk away with some impressive hardware.

The Lady Huskies have developed a bowling dynasty. They've won 7 state titles since 2000, including back-to-back wins the past two years. They're not to be trifled with on the lanes.

One other piece of hardware that Harlem AD Kurt Weight will have to find room for in his trophy case is an individual title won by Kayla Verstraete. She had an impressive come from behind win in the Finals.

As you can see Kayla started slow and needed every pin in the final 4 frames to edge her competitor by 2 points.

Congrats to the Lady Huskies. You've made Harlem grads proud!
