Science is an amazing thing, and soon it could be making the dreams of every wine lover come true. Read on and rejoice, my friends!

Personally, I can't classify myself as a true "wine lover." Not because I don't think most wines are delicious, but because my body usually punishes me severely the day after a wine drinking evening. To put it simply, wine hangovers make me puke my guts out and feel like death warmed over. No good, but I know I am not alone in this. Ready for the good news?

Soon the days of passing on a glass of red and using the famous words "red wine gives me a headache" will be gone. Seriously, and here's why; scientists at the University of Illinois have found a way to modify yeast that may actually reduce the elements in wine that cause a hangover.

I stunk at science in school, so I can't even begin to explain how this works, but I can tell you this yeast modification process is awesome! Once perfected, it opens up the possibilities for other foods and drinks as well, making them more healthy and taste better.

See, I told you, science is freaking awesome!
