Just two days after the one year anniversary of the devastating EF4 tornado that tore through Northern Illinois, the punishment has been decided for the man who was arrested for stealing money from Grubsteakers, after the tornado destroyed the restaurant.

WIFR-TV is reporting that 67-year old Michael McDonald of Indiana will not go to jail. In court he plead guilty and was sentenced to 18 months supervision.

McDonald was a customer in the Rochelle restaurant on April 9th when the tornado tore through and stole from the cash register an an amount close to $1,000.
