Governor Elect Rauner in Rockford Tonight

Republican Governor-elect Bruce Rauner is planning a statewide tour by plane after ousting Democratic Gov. Pat Quinn. He will be in Rockford tonight. Details here.

According to The Journal Standard and Rauner spokesman Lance Trover, Rauner will have stops today, Friday Nov 7, in Rockford, Springfield and Marion.

Rauner is expected in Rockford today, Friday Nov 7 for a victory rally at 5 p.m. at Giovanni’s, 610 N. Bell School Road. It is open to the public.

Needless to say, traffic around Bell School and East State Street will be tight.
