Go Golfing Today in Rockford

Thanks to Mother Nature's warm February temperatures, Atwood Homestead Golf Course is open for golfers to hit the links this President's Day.

There might not be green grass, but no snow and temps near 70 make golfing a go at Atwood Homestead Golf Course located at 8990 Old River Road in Rockford. Start times begin at 10 a.m. today, and you can call the course at 815-623-2411 to reserve a start time starting at 9 a.m. this morning.

Atwood Homestead Golf Course fees are:

• 9 holes walking - $10
• 9 holes riding - $15
• 18 holes walking - $15
• 18 holes riding - $25
