Some Girl Scouts in Suffolk County New York put together a savoy marketing campaign to sell their cookies.

They used Leonardo DiCaprio's Oscar cookie purchase and then his Oscar win to push their cookies.

So did their marketing ploy work?

According to the troop, in this ABC7 Chicago report, their campaign strategy was met with a "resounding success, attracting the attention of passerbys and helping fund future badge activities.

Well good for those girls. I think that's funny but quiet ingenious at the same time. Those Girl Scouts were thinking to help sell their delicious cookies.
