Gilmore Girls is Coming Back and Will Return to Netflix!

Happy weekend, the Gilmore Girls is coming back!

Endgadget is reporting that Gilmore Girls fans can now rejoice, it official. Netflix has corfiemed that the TV show will return in a rebooted format. As of today,  Lauren Graham, Alexis Bledel, Scott Patterson, and Kelly Bishop have all agreed to be part of the reboot!

How the show will be structured remains to be seen -- original rumors said it might come back as four 90-minute "mini movie" episodes, but that hasn't been confirmed yet. It also seems unlikely that Melissa McCarthy will resume her supporting role on the show given how much her star has risen in the years since Gilmore Girls wrapped in 2007.
