Get Help With Your Thanksgiving Meal Tomorrow in Rockford

The United Way of Rock River Valley is teaming up with Top Box to provide discounted grocery boxes for families that need them this Thanksgiving.

These Thanksgiving Grocery Boxes normally retail for $50, but will be available for $26 tomorrow. They include:

• 8-10 lb whole Jennie-O Turkey
• 28 oz Bob Evans Mac N Cheese
• 24 oz Bob Evans Mashed Potatoes
• 20 oz Bob Evans Sweet Potatoes
• 14 oz Birdseye Sweet Corn
• 1 lb Birdseye Green Beans

The United Way will be at three different locations in the Stateline tomorrow, (Saturday, November 3), and the public is welcome to pop by to purchase one of these Thanksgiving Grocery Boxes.

The locations and times for November 3 are:

• 9 to 10:15 a.m. at GPS Faith Church at 10714 N 2nd St. in Machesney Park.
• 11 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. at Zion Lutheran Church at 925 5th Ave. in Rockford.
• 1 to 2:15 p.m. at the Rockton Centre Branch of the Rockford Public Library at 3112 Rockton Ave.
