Genoa McDonald’s Break-in Suspect, Crime Stoppers Needs Your Help

This individual is wanted for an an attempted burglary at the Genoa McDonald's.

Crime Stoppers is seeking information in reference to an attempted burglary that occurred  in the early morning hours of January 29th.

The DeKalb County Sheriff's Police says that sometime between midnight and 4:00 a.m., two masked individuals made entry into the restaurant, going into the office. Security video footage shows

The individuals wearing black sweatshirts and gloves. One was also wearing a white / red hockey mask and the other was wearing a black ski mask. Nothing appears to be missing at this time, but the office was left in disarray and a safe was damaged.

The Genoa McDonald's is located at 704 E. Main Street.

The Daily Chronicle also reports that Genoa Police Chief Robert Smith said the individuals entered the McDonald's after the night shift employees had left and that nothing appeared to be missing, but a safe inside the restaurant was damaged and an office in the restaurant as in disarray when the McDonald's morning crew reported for work,
