Tim Boyle / Getty Images[/caption]The kids will be out of school soon, so we need to find a way to keep them busy, and let's be honest, keep us from pulling our hair out. You might want to mark these dates on your calendar now so you can soak up all the free, educational fun Chicago has to offer this summer.

I found a super sweet website yesterday that listed all of the free Chicago museum dates for 2017. I'll highlight some of the summer dates so none of us miss out on the fun.

According to chicagoparent.com, here are the days a few of the Chicago museums will be offering free admission:

  • Adler Planetarium - June 5-9
  • Shedd Aquarium - June 5-6 and 12-13; August 28-29
  • Museum of Science and Industry - June 5-9, 12
  • Chicago Children's Museum - Free 5-8 p.m. Thursdays and the first Sunday of every month for kids 15 and under.

Parents, there's a whole lot of free fun up for grabs in the Chicago area this summer, so be sure to check out the complete list and dates here.
