This has been a tough season for the Chicago Bears. Now, tragedy has struck the organization. Rashann Salaam, who won the Heisman Trophy in 1994 and spent three years as a running back for the Chicago Bears, has been found dead, according to ESPN.com.

According to authorities, he was found at a park in Boulder, Colorado. The former University of Colorado football player was the first pick of the 1995 NFL draft for the Chicago Bears. The 21st pick broke a record for being the youngest player in history to run for over 1,000 yds in a season. He was only 21 years old.

The Bears will be making a statement soon. Fans have endured a rough season, but when someone loses their life so young, it doesn't matter who wins or loses.

Saalam was only 42.
