Forklift Accident Kills Belvidere Man

A man working at a business in Belvidere was killed in a accident involving a forklift.

WIFR-TV is reporting 36-year old Chris Thick was involved the deadly accident. The Forklift accident occurred at a company in Belvidere on Tuesday

The death is currently under investigation, but here is what we know now.

Authorities say that Think parked the forklift onto a flatbed truck,  but after jumping off the truck, the forklift started to slide backwards, hitting Thick.

WIFR reports that Thick passed away from the injuries he sustained. The accident occurred at Fastenal, 2337 Newburg Road.
