Two of country music's most up-and-coming acts have been named to Forbes magazine's prestigious 30 Under 30 in Music list.

Country hick-hop superstars Florida Georgia Line and singer-songwriter Kacey Musgraves are among the young musical movers and shakers to make the annual list, along with mainstream pop artists like Iggy Azalea, Ed Sheeran, Meghan Trainor and Afrojack.

Florida Georgia Line have rocketed to superstardom in the course of just two full-length albums. Their debut, 'Here's to the Good Times,' spawned four No. 1 hits, including 'Cruise,' which shattered a number of longstanding chart records. They recently released their follow-up, 'Anything Goes.' The album's first single, 'Dirt,' also reached No. 1, and the second single, 'Sun Daze,' is currently in the Top 10 and climbing.

Musgraves took a very different route to success, penning some of the most smartly observational songs in recent country music history. Her major label debut, 'Same Trailer Different Park,' won a Grammy for Best Country Album, and its first single, 'Merry Go 'Round,' won the Grammy for Best Country Song. The third single, 'Follow Your Arrow,' won a CMA award for Song of the Year.

It's just as well that FGL are doing so well in their chosen field. "If this music thing didn’t work out, [we’d] probably still be in Nashville trying to figure out how to write songs,” Brian Kelley tells Forbes. “That was plan A, B, C, D, E, F, G.”
