Ever like two different food items at two different places in Rockford and thought why don't they just mix those together? Then this list might just tempt your taste buds.

Taco Bell recently came out with a "Naked Chicken Chalupa" and now their fellow partners at KFC are thinking it is time to introduce a favorite that is being served in Singapore. The Chizza is a fried chicken breast topped with tomato sauce, chicken ham, pineapple pieces, mozzarella cheese and then topped off with the KFC cheese sauce. It gets baked and then you have a Chizza.

This somewhat tempting but gross combination got me to thinking of five different Rockford foods that may or may not go together. Here is what I came up with:

1. Stockholm Inn Swedish Pancakes topped with Beef-A-Roo cheddar cheese.

I am not sure if this would be good for breakfast or for lunch, but this would be delicious if you topped it with grounded sausage.

2. Mrs. Fischers Potato Chip mixed with Dairyhaus ice cream

It would be a yummy combination of sweet and salty. The ice cream would have to be either chocolate or vanilla. You would have to serve it in a bowl and not in a cone.

3. The Ultimate 15th and Chris Burger topped with Uncle Nick's Gyro Sauce

I don't think I need to say anything more except serve this burger 24 hours a day because it would be that good.

4. Woodfire Pizza covered with "Yummy, Yummy" sauce from J.M.K Nippon

It could be any topping you decide to put on the pizza, but chicken would be my choice. Also, you could also have the "Yucky, Yucky" sauce and it would still taste good on anything.

5. Sugar Jones cupcake deep fried and stuffed with a R.B.I boneless hot wing

I am a huge fan of their cupcakes. Now, why not take it to a whole new level and make it an appetizer that would bring the best of both worlds. Cover it with powder sugar and you have what could be the best appetizer creation in Rockford.

With all of this talk of food, I think it is time to go and try some of these things myself. If you can also think of any combos, let us know. We may give these a try on the air during the morning show.
