As the temperatures are starting to heat up, so is the need to cool down. Luckily there are many places in the Rockford Area that can take care of that need.
1. Alpine Pool-Rockford
According to their website "This location has an "L" shaped pool ranging from 3 feet to 12 feet deep, a diving well with two drop slides and a one meter diving board, and a wading pool" Admission for residents is $5 for adults and $3 for kids 2 and under. They also offer a special on Monday where everyone is $3.
2. Sand Park Pool-Rockford
According to their website "Sand Park Pool is "L" shaped, ranging from 3 feet to 12 feet deep and has a diving well with two drop slides and a one-meter diving board. This location also offers a family aquatic attraction, Penguin Pond, which features a wading pool and a water slide specially designed for young children." Admission for residents is $6 for adults and $4 for kids 2 and under. They also offer a special on Monday where everyone is $4.

4. Krueger Swim Pool-Beloit
