Filling Up Is Cheaper In Rockford

According to our new partner WTVO, there is good news for drivers in Rockford. Something keeps dropping and it isn't transmissions.

The price of gas around the Stateline area has reached an average of $2.09. In fact, if you use illinoisgasbudddy.com, and select locations that are in the area, you can find gas for less than $2.

The cheapest I found was in Rochelle at the Clark station. It is only $1.94 a gallon. That is great news for people who have to travel a long distance to get to work or school.

What is even better is that the rest of the state is paying an average of $2.26 a gallon. Could we see lower gas prices soon? Time will tell, but lets hope that we don't see those prices go up anytime soon.
