Ferris Bueller Festival is this Weekend in Chicago [Video]

It was thirty years ago this year that Ferris Bueller's Day off was the hottest thing on the big screen. This weekend, Chicago will host "Ferris Fest", celebrating all things Ferris Bueller.WGN-TV reports that starting Friday, you can recreate his entire "day off" with a whole series of events.

Among the highlights:

• Two special screenings of Ferris Bueller's Day off will be shown on Saturday, May 21 and Sunday, May 22 in Lake Forest, IL
  
• Cindy Pickett, Lyman Ward, the actors that portrayed Ferris Bueller's parents will be in attendance.
• A LIVE re-creation of the film's 'Twist and Shout' parade sequence
• 2-day, 2-part bus tour of all the filming locations, which will include Cameron's House, Glenboard North High School, Wrigley field and more.
