This week as we get set for Mother's Day, I started thinking about one of favorite Mother's Day Memory.

I remember when I was about 3rd grade and my middle sister, Jill, was in 5th grade we decided to pool our allowance money and take our Mom to breakfast.

Mom had ran into the former Food Country on Sandy Hollow Road to pick up a few groceries. That's when Jill brought up the idea that we should take Mom out to breakfast. We counted out our money's and told Mom when she got back in the car we were taking her to breakfast. The closest place was the Denny's across the parking lot.

I remember feeling so proud of paying for my Mom's meal. I can't remember what we ordered but I do remember my sister and I had just enough.

I'm not so sure how Mom really felt about Denny's but she never let on. She took the whole thing in and smiled.

What's your favorite Mother's Day memory?
