Illinois and Wisconsin's Favorite Halloween Candies

I have to admit I am a sucker for Milky Way Simply Carmels. Even though I love them, they are not #1, by far.

Can you believe we are just two weeks away from Halloween? Yes, soon the little ghouls and goblins will be banging on your front door, yelling "trick or treat' for some tasty sweets.

Did you ever wonder what is the favorite candy that kids love? The answer differs state by state.

Influenster conducted a poll of 40,000 candy lovers form each of the 50 states to determine each state’s favorite Halloween candy.

#1 overall nationwide Halloween Candy was: Candy Corn
#1 in Illinois: Snickers Bars
#1 in Wisconsin: Laffy Taffy

Influenster says that a total of 30 candies were included on the survey. Of those thirty Halloween treats, only one cookie was included: the Oreo.

By the way grandma's "ribbon candy" (Yuk!) did not make the list.
