It's Father's Day Weekend, and the first day of summer arrives on Sunday. Since this Sunday, June 21 will have the most sunshine for the year, here's what's going on in the Stateline for the weekend.

Make plans now to join Q98.5 at OSD 2015 in Rockton, Illinois. Saturday night, June 20 will feature Big and Rich with Cowboy Troy and more. Sunday, June 21 will feature Sam Hunt. Ticket info at www.oldsettlersdays.com. Here's a picture from Thursday night at OSD when Q98.5 opened the festival with Thomas Rhett.

My final recommendation for the weekend is to check out the ARTSY Arts and Craft Exhibit Saturday, June 20 from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. at Edgebrook Shopping center on North Alpine. Arts and Crafts will be on display, as well as the creators to give advise and tips.  More than 65 vendors will be on hand with live music. Free admission and plenty of parking at Edgebrook.

Finally, since it is Father's Day this Sunday, let dad pick what he wants to do and simply enjoy the best quality time possible and make a few memories of your own.
