Roscoe woman, Olivia Bekielewski, who lost her husband Alan, and 2-year-old son Orin on Friday as her house burned to the ground, wants to the thank the Stateline for the outpouring of support and money shown to her family, but says that a different fire "hero" now needs our help.

The GoFundMe page for the Bekielewski family has already earned over $40,000, which gives the family plenty of money to get back on their feet, and that is why they are urging for the public's help now to help the man who Olivia Bekielweski credits with saving her, and her baby daughter's life.

Doug Sommerfield was Alan's best friend, and has been living with the family for 5 years. He lost just as much in this tragic fire, and the Bekielewski family feels support for Doug has been overshadowed, and they want to change that.
