Fallen Fire and Police Benefit Motorcycle Ride is Saturday

It's time for the 2nd Annual "Fallen Fire & Police Escorted Benefit Ride".

The weather is looking great this weekend. The benefit ride takes place this Saturday, July 5th. Registration will take place from 8:00 am until 10:00 am. The ride will begin at 10:00 am.

The ride commences at the Boone County Fairgrounds in Belvidere and ends at Kegel Harley Davidson near Cherry Vale Mall. The cost is $20 per motorcycle and $15 per passenger and includes a meal. For those without a bike, no problem, you can still participate in this escorted ride.

For those not participating on the ride but would still like to help out, there will be an after ride party outside of Kegel Harley Davidson in Rockford with live music, a bike show, and rider demonstration. A $5 donation is requested gets you into the party part. An additional donation of $5, gets you a meal.

Proceeds to benefit families of fallen firefighters and police officers killed in the line of duty.
