Eating a McDonald's Salad Could've Possibly Made You Sick

When it comes to eating healthy, I am the worst when it comes to prepping my meals; so on days when I don't have a lunch made at home, I'll typically eat out.

Well, it just so happens that this week, I had a Southwest Chicken salad from McDonald's...twice.

Which means I'm twice as likely to get sick; at least according to WREX, who says that the Illinois Department of Public Health is conducting an investigation after people got sick after eating McDonald's salads.

90 cases of cyclosporiasis have been reported in counties across the state of Illinois with people getting sick as far back as May.

Officials say that the fast food chain is removing salads from restaurants and distributions centers, and they will re-supply restaurants with new salads from other suppliers.
