Dustin Lynch fans have a new song to tide them over until his new album comes out: "Small Town Boy." Lynch gave a live debut of the track on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Tuesday (April 4).

True to his nature, the mild-mannered Southern boy charmed the audience with the new tune, which was written by Rhett Akins, Ben Hayslip and Kyle Fishman. Donning a black T-shirt emblazoned with a young Matt Damon’s face (a nod to Kimmel’s longtime nemesis), Lynch grinned as he sang the lyrics, which suit the Tullahoma, Tenn., native well. "Small Town Boy" is a testament to the fact that even though other guys may have a lot to offer, there’s just something about a small town Southern boy that ladies — at least this particular one — can't deny.

The song has a tinge of rock to it, but keeps that soulful country style Lynch has become known for. His most recent single, “Seein’ Red,” hit No. 1 on the Country Airplay charts and is the leadoff single to the upcoming record, due out later this year.

He’s currently on the road with Florida Georgia Line’s Dig Your Roots Tour and joins Brad Paisley in May. When he’s not touring, Lynch manages his own clothing line, Stay Country, which realizes a longtime dream for the artist.
