Dust Devil Invades Libertyville Little League Game
We've seen a lot of baseball games getting rained out here in the Midwest, but this appears to be our first "dust devil" delay.
First off, if you're unfamiliar with dust devils, here's what they are (from Dictionary.com):
a small whirlwind 10–100 feet (3–30 meters) in diameter and from several hundred to 1000 feet (305 meters) high, common in dry regions on hot, calm afternoons and made visible by the dust, debris, and sand it picks up from the ground.
So, they can big or small, or anywhere in-between.
